As we embark on a prestigious GBP40M fit-out project, we seek an experienced and contractually strong Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the financial management and contractual aspects of a GBP40M fit-out project in Central London. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling large-scale projects, possess excellent leadership qualities, and be adept at managing complex contracts. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the financial and contractual management of a GBP40M fit-out project. * Prepare, negotiate, and analyze costs for tenders and contracts. * Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures. * Oversee the preparation and submission of interim valuations, final accounts, and claims. * Conduct risk management and value engineering assessments to optimize project outcomes. * Liaise with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution. * Provide accurate and timely reports on project progress, budgets, and financial forecasts. * Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, industry standards, and legal requirements. * Mentor and manage junior quantity surveyors and support staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment. Qualifications and Experience: * Bachelor rsquo;s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. * Professional membership with RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent is highly desirable. * Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a significant portion in large-scale fit-out projects. * Strong contractual knowledge and experience with JCT and NEC contracts. * Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning for major projects. * Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. * Proficient in relevant software applications (e.g., CostX, MS Excel, and other QS tools). * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
