Network Specialist Permanent Position Basingstoke Leading IT Services Provider in the Defence sector require a skilled Network Specialist to join our existing dynamic Solution Build Practice to join their team in Basingstoke. *** The successful candidate will be required to go through high level security clearance and will only start once this is granted *** Your role : The Network Specialist will be part of the Delivery Team and will liaise with the current SMEs for Networking, Infrastructure, Applications and Security as required. They will have a wealth of experience on larger or more complex solutions, demonstrating an understanding of the customers #39; business and commercial issues. They identify, design and deliver larger or complex solutions to meet challenging requirements. You will be responsible for assisting the Solution Architects with the design and communication of structures to enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions that meet current and future business needs.Required skills: Network design (high and low level) Network solution prototyping Configuring network devices Previous experience with Juniper SRX or Fortinet FortiGate Previous experience Cisco routing and switching devices Demonstrable understanding of OSPF, EIGRP and BGP routing protocols. Demonstrable understanding of NAT, GRE Tunnelling protocol, DMVPN Tunnelling Protocol, Subnetting Supernetting. Previous troubleshooting and support experience.
