Teaching assistant

We are looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants who possess excellent SEND knowledge, experience working in schools, computer literacy, and strong communication skills. Contract: Mon - Fri, 8:30AM - 3:30PM - Term Time Only Salary: Final salary based on experience As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: * Providing support and assistance to students with SEND in the classroom, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. * Collaborating with teachers to plan and deliver tailored learning activities and interventions that meet the individual needs of students. * Utilising your strong SEND knowledge to implement appropriate strategies and interventions to support students #39; academic and social-emotional development. * Assisting students with their learning and providing additional support with tasks as needed, including reading, writing, and numeracy activities. * Using your computer literacy skills to support students with technology-based learning tools and resources, as well as assisting with administrative tasks. * Communicating effectively with students, teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in the care and education of students with SEND. To be considered for this role, you must have: * An Enhanced DBS check, ensuring suitability to work with children and young people. * Previous experience working in schools, particularly with students with SEND. * A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. * Excellent English speaking and writing skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with students and colleagues. * Strong computer literacy skills, including proficiency with common software programs and the ability to use technology to support learning.
