Role Description This is a full-time role for a Skilled Construction Operative. Their specialist surveying team designs solutions which protect structures and buildings from the effects of water ingress. Your role, as part of a dedicated team of skilled operatives, will be to install the specified systems. Key Responsibilities: bull; Forward thinking and planning around materials and tools required for projects bull; Punctuality to site and time management during the day bull; Installation and application of waterproofing systems, damp proofing systems and timber treatments bull; Quality control of works bull; Health and safety compliance bull; Reporting of progress via App and communication with operative team and contracts department bull; Professionalism and respect towards clients and colleagues bull; Showing initiative and problem solving on site bull; Attention to detail, tenacity and pride in work bull; Ability to work independently and as part of a team Technical Skills / Professional Qualifications: bull; Must have current CSCS card bull; PASMA an advantage bull; First Aid an advantage bull; Asbestos awareness an advantage bull; Full UK Driving Licence Essential Criteria: bull; Current CSCS Card bull; Previous construction and site experience bull; Full UK Driving Licence bull; Living within an accessible distance of Henley-on-Thames Experience: bull; Previous construction and site experience bull; Understanding of construction sequencing bull; Experience of renovation projects an advantage bull; Basic carpentry an advantage bull; Basic plumbing an advantage bull; Basic electrical an advantage bull; Good Health Safety awareness Physical Requirements: bull; The role requires good general physical health, including the ability to load / unload materials manually. bull; The candidate should occasionally be prepared to carry out preparations work including hacking off plaster, breaking up concrete and digging sump chambers, channels when required and on certain projects. bull; It is essential that the candidate understand that this role requires travelling to site. This often involves an early start in the office and travel into London. The majority of our work is from the Cotswolds to London but there are very occasional projects further afield when we provide stay-away accommodation
