Position: Japanese speaking Account Assistant Company: Japanese manufacturing company Salary: GBP24-26K / year Location: Leeds, UK Language: Business level of English and Japanese #x3010;Responsibility #x3011; Credit control bull; Checking customer rsquo;s credit bull; Negotiating payment plans and setting up terms and conditions bull; Credit checks and monitoring credit ratings bull; Ensuring customers pay on time and provide for overdue invoices bull; Maintaining accurate records bull; Implementing changes in the company rsquo;s credit control system Purchase Ledger bull; Code and check invoices bull; Work out VAT payments bull; Check and reconcile supplier statements bull; File invoices and statements in the system bull; Deal with purchase enquiries bull; Processing of staff expenses Banking bull; Processing payments in the system and reconciliations bull; Processing bacs payments bull; Banking of cheques SAP Support bull; Help Financial Controller provide SAP support to all areas of the business bull; Assist with creating reports ad hoc as required by the business bull; Point of contact between business and SAP Partner bull; Support any SAP add on implementations bull; IT point of contact between external IT company and SAP Partners. #x3010;Essential knowledge, skills, qualifications #x3011; - Accounting or Account Assistant experience, or BA in Accounting is a must - Business level of both Japanese and English - Debit and Credits understanding - Confident phone manner - Credit control experience (Preferred not essential) - SAP B1 (Preferred not essential) - Strong excel skills (Preferred not essential) - IT literate
