Structural engineer

Structural Engineer GBP38k - GBP42k Plus benefits City of London Conrad Consulting is pleased to be working with a multi award winning structural engineering practice based in the City of London. They pride themselves on offering creative engineering design to build sustainable, appropriate and cost-effective solutions for their clients. Their reputation and continuing hard work have ensured ongoing project wins, resulting in the need to recruit a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join their small and dedicated structural team on a full time permanent basis. Projects: residential, Commercial, leisure, arts and sculpture ranging in value from GBP250k to GBP30m. Responsibilities: Structural design and detail for a range of projects, feasibility studies, inspections, surveys and reports, Delivery of projects alongside the team of technical staff, Liaising closely with Architects, clients, contractors, developers and other professionals within the organisation, Assist in the peparation and review of fee quotations for new projects. Requirements: A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Between 2-5 years #39; industry experience within the UK, Experience of working for a smaller practice and successfully and efficiently managing projects, Competency to design in a range of materials including steel, concrete, timber and masonry, The ability to work with minimal supervision and within time constraints to efficiently deliver projects/reports on time and within budget, The capacity to think creatively and in new ways by challenging the #39;norm #39; to produce innovative engineering solutions, Strong written and verbal communication skills Full UK driving licence.
