Maintenance engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Preventive Maintenance: Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on food production machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Breakdown Response: Rapidly respond to and troubleshoot machinery breakdowns, implementing effective solutions to restore operations. Machinery Maintenance: Perform routine and corrective maintenance on a wide range of production equipment. Continuous Improvement: Identify and execute improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency. Documentation: Keep detailed and accurate records of maintenance activities and machinery performance. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.Working Hours: Shift Pattern: 3 on 3 off (days and nights, rotating shifts)Qualifications and Skills: Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry is essential. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of food production machinery and maintenance procedures. Engineering Discipline: Relevant qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering. Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve mechanical and electrical issues promptly.
