Technical Support Engineer- Lewes Are you ready to take your technical skills to the next level? Our client, a leading organisation in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a motivated and skilled Technical Support Engineer to join their dynamic team. If you #39;re ready for a new challenge and want to work with cutting-edge technology, read on! As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a vital role in our client #39;s success. Based out of their Lewes office, you will have the opportunity to work on various customer sites across the UK, conducting installations, repairs, and surveys. When you #39;re not on-site, you will be providing exceptional technical support to our client #39;s customers via email, phone, and Teams. Additionally, you will be involved in configuring equipment, preparing customer media, and supporting internal departments. Salary: GBP30,000-GBP40,000 per annum. Hours: 7:00-15:30-07:30-16:00, Monday-Friday To excel in this role, you must have: A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You should have experience carrying out electrical and electronic device repairs, including soldering, cable repairs, and Molex crimping. A full UK driving licence is essential, as well as the ability to travel globally on occasion. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office packages and Windows OS.While not essential, knowledge of serial communication standards and protocols and previous experience with Linux would be highly beneficial. Experience in electrical and electronic system design and a background in technical support would also be advantageous. In this role, you will be responsible for: Carrying out installations and retrofits of our client #39;s equipment at customer sites worldwide. You will provide first-line phone support and conduct site evaluations to suggest improvements for resolving customer issues.
