Science Teacher - Canterbury Job Title: Science Teacher Location: Canterbury Start Date: 1st September 2024 Salary: GBP30,000 to GBP46,525 (In line with your current pay scale) PAYE, Pension, Free ParkingScience Teacher - Canterbury Academics are currently working with a school in Canterbury who are seeking a qualified and passionate Science Teacher to join their secondary school. The school aims to provide a supportive and engaging environment for their students, inspiring them to unlock their full potential and achieve academic excellence. Responsibilities: - Deliver engaging and high-quality science lessons to students of all abilities - Plan and prepare lesson plans in line with the national curriculum and school #39;s curriculum - Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support when needed - Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students - Contribute to the development and improvement of the science curriculum and resources - Participate in extra-curricular activities and school events as required - Attend meetings and training sessions as required by the school Requirements: - A recognised teaching qualification and relevant degree in science - A strong passion for teaching and inspiring students - Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements - Excellent organisational and time management skills - Effective communication and interpersonal abilities - DBS certificate (Enhanced Disclosure) which is on the Update Service or be prepared to get one through Academics Ltd.
