Experienced Cover Supervisor (ECT #39;s welcome to apply) Liverpool, Merseyside GBP12 - GBP20 per hour (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications) September 2024 - July 2023 About us: Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cover Supervisor to work across a range of schools in Liverpool. The role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring that students remain on task and engaged with their work. You will deliver pre-set lesson plans, maintain classroom discipline, and provide support to students as needed. Your strong behaviour management skills will be crucial in maintaining a productive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise classes across various subjects and year groups in the absence of the regular teacher. Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure that students stay focused and engaged. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, following the school #39;s behaviour policy. Support students with their learning, providing guidance and assistance where needed. Liaise with school staff to ensure a smooth transition between lessons and activities. Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate school staff. Requirements: Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role within a school setting. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
