Laboratory team leader

Chemistry Laboratory leader This is a permanent opportunity . Kenton Black Scientific is a recruitment partner to one of the leading food testing laboratory based in Cambridgeshire. In this role you will be managing a team of laboratory technicians. Responsibilities: bull; Responsible to running day to day activities within the chemistry laboratory. bull; Provide technical and quality training for all the new starters bull; Ensure that adequate amount of staff is present at all times in the laboratory bull; Analysing food samples using analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC-MS, LC bull; Ensure all team members are performing duties/tests according ISO17025 guidelines bull; Qualifications: bull; Degree in science or equivalent bull; Proven experience in using analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC-MS, GC bull; Proven operational experience and team management within food/water/environmental chemistry testing laboratory ndash; happy to consider candidates who currently work as a senior analyst and looking for career progression bull; Proven project management skills and experience, lean production principles
