Embedded firmware engineer

An exciting name in Semiconductors seeks an Embedded Firmware Engineer with several years industrial experience to work on the development of embedded firmware for their silicon products. Competitive salary up to CGBP80K depending on your level of experience + Hybrid working + Shares. This innovative Company seeks an Embedded Firmware Engineer with the following: * A Bachelors / Masters Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or similar. * Strong experience in designing, coding and debugging in C and/or C++ in an embedded environment. * Experience in implementing or using RTOS. * Knowledge of 32 bit processor architectures and computer system architectures. * Developing under different platforms, ideally Linux and Windows. * Interfacing to hardware and peripherals such as JTAG, SPI, I2C. In this Embedded Firmware / Software role you will develop, test and maintain embedded firmware for the company rsquo;s range of silicon products; ensuring robustness of code by implementing and running a software test suite as well as undertaking software design and support for the silicon design infrastructure.
