Plumbing and heating engineer

Job Title ndash; Plumber Multi Trader About The Role: My client has a great opportunity for a Resident Engineer to work for the London School of Economics contract. They will be looking after up to 6 Student blocks. They have an opportunity for a Resident Halls Engineer to join the team based in Holborn. The primary focus of the role will be to carry out planned preventative mechanically biased maintenance and reactive works, to building plant, equipment and systems as well as respond to site engineering emergencies. This exciting development of contemporary urban-inspired apartments, penthouses and villas is situated in one of London #39;s best-connected locations. Key Accountabilities * Record all reactive and PPM tasks accurately and in detail using report sheets and ensure signed by the client weekly. * Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks carried out to provide safe working practices. * Supervise subcontractors effectively. * Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures * Having the relevant qualifications and experience for your discipline is essential for your success in this role, however, what is most important to us is your effective communication skills to deliver high levels of customer service at all times, your ability to effectively multi-task, work to tight deadlines and problem solve on the job; whilst always promoting health safety excellence. Education: * Mechanical qualifications from a recognised institution * Mechanical time served apprenticeship or equivalent * Experience in Plumbing, heating ventilation * Multi Trader (desirable)
