Role: Field Service Engineer / Forklift Mechanic Location: Basildon, Essex (accepting applications from surrounding areas) Salary: GBP40,000-GBP50,000 DOE Hours: 07:00-17:00 Monday to Thursday, 16.00 finish Friday (49 hour week) Job type: Full time, Permanent The Company: Interaction Technical have partnered with an expanding family-owned business operating within the forklift supplier and repair industry on their search for an experienced field service engineer / forklift mechanic to join their growing team. The Package: middot; Salary between GBP40,000-GBP50,000 salary dependent of experience middot; Company van fuel card + limited personal use with van middot; 28 days holiday - Inclusive of public holidays middot; Overtime paid @ 1.5x Saturdays middot; Pension scheme middot; Medical scheme middot; Company uniform provided The Role: middot; Accurately diagnosing faults, servicing and carrying out emergency repairs/breakdowns on forklift and plant machinery. middot; Collaborate with customers surrounding the lifting and handling products. middot; The ability to work independently within the customer sites and collaborate with colleagues to ensure documentation and the perfect solution is offered. middot; Actively travelling to sites and carrying out repairs of the equipment and creating solutions. middot; Working on engines, batteries, pneumatics and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs. The Requirements: middot; Previous experience working with pneumatics and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential) middot; Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair service experience (advantageous) middot; Previous experience working in the Forklift, Plant, HGV and/or Agricultural industries (advantageous) middot; Experience working with engines and batteries (advantageous) middot; Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous) middot; Full UK Drivers License Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance IT, Technical Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
