Contracts manager

I am working closely with an established M E Contractor who are looking for an ambitious and driven Contracts Manager with either an electrical or mechanical bias to join their North East business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business with a turnover of GBP7m M E. Their focus is to grow and increase turnover in the division which will create opportunity for the right people. Headed up by a dynamic and forward-thinking management team, this client has big plans for the future. You will play an integral part in the growth of the business and the building services department. Projects are large scale and varied across multiple sectors including Residential, Education, Commercial and Industrial. Responsibilities: * Liaise with all stakeholders and contractors ensuring service delivery and customer satisfaction to the highest level * Collaborate with project teams to plan and coordinate the execution of works, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols * Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, negotiating with suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality * Weekly reporting on project progress * To ensure sub-contractors are procured in a timely manner, ensuring the contract is kept on target from the outset * Manage site installation What #39;s on offer?: * Competitive salary and package * Large scale and varied projects * Fantastic culture and working environment This role is offering realistic long term progression to an Operations Manager role and beyond as the division grows amongst a fantastic culture.
