Project manager

We are working with a hugely respected M E subcontractor operating across London and the UK. They are looking for a Project Manager to join their team in London. THE COMPANY * A widely recognised contractor with over 130 years of experience in the construction industry and a strong reputation for excellence. * They provide mechanical and electrical engineering contracting services across a range of sectors including residential and commercial. * They are a people and client focussed business. They have grown through staff retention and through repeat clients. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing the mechanical and electrical aspects of a construction project, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. * The Project Manager will be responsible for building and leading a team of mechanical and electrical engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, and ensuring they are properly trained and organised. * The Project Manager will create and manage the project budget and make sure the M E work stays within budgetary constraints. * The Project Manager will work alongside other professionals to make sure the quality, compliance, procurement, schedule management, commercial and commissioning aspects are delivered as planned. SKILLS AND BACKGROUND * Previous experience as M E Project Manager. * Have a mechanical qualification or relevant work experience. * Good knowledge of electrical systems and installations. * Experience of working for an M E subcontractor. * Experience of leading the whole lifecycle of residential or mixed-use projects. * Have UK right to work.
