Part time credit controller

This well-established professional services organisation based in Guildford is looking for a Part Time Credit Controller to join their team. This role will be offered on a part time basis, ideally 3 days a week however there is flexibility in how these hours are worked. Part Time Credit Controller - Benefits * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Flexible working hours * Car parking onsite * Pension scheme * Discount on company products Part Time Credit Controller - About The Role In this role you will be working in a finance team of 6 and will be reporting into the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for managing the Credit Control function while also assisting in other areas of the finance function when needed. Your key responsibilities will be: * Managing with daily running of the credit control function, ensuring collection of all monies owed * Responsible for the collection of sales ledger debts * Required to build good working relationships with key suppliers * Preparation of credit reviews within appropriate recommendations for approval * Overseeing the production of statement runs and subsequent stop process * Monitoring and controlling all supplier accounts as well as setting up new suppliers * Resolution of queries and disputes with suppliers * Review customer credit limits The successful Part Time Credit Controller will have: * Previous experience in a Credit Control position * Ability to communicate at all levels * Experience of picking up new systems Howett Thorpe are acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role and comply with all relevant UK legislation and do not discriminate on any protected characteristics.
