We are currently recruiting for a CNC Programmer/Setter role based in West Bromwich. Our client is a globally recognised manufacturer and distributor of electrical, mechanical, and safety infrastructure solutions, committed to empowering their customers while powering and protecting the world. * Competitive hourly rate of GBP16 + 25% shift allowance = GBP20 per hour * 25 days annual leave plus festive shutdown at Christmas * Access to a companywide bonus scheme The Role: As a CNC Programmer/Setter, you will be: * Setting up, programming, and operating twin spindle, multi-axis CNC turning centres * Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders * Performing basic math calculations to ensure accurate measurements and dimensions * Inspecting finished products for quality and adherence to specifications * Collaborating with team members to optimise production processes * Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment The Candidate: The ideal CNC Programmer/Setter candidate will have: * Previous experience of programming, setting, and running CNC lathes with multi spindle and multi turret simultaneous machining * Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings * Knowledge of SolidWorks, CAD, and other software used in CNC programming * Familiarity with logic controllers and tooling used in CNC operations * Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand tools for assembly and adjustments * Essential strong knowledge of multi-axis turning and experience working from bar and designing programs The Package: The CNC Programmer/Setter role offers a competitive hourly rate of GBP16.
