Learning Support Assistant ndash; UES1 Location: Watford Job Type: Full-time Start Date: ASAP/September 2024 Salary in line with experience: GBP85 - GBP110 per day! Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support students #39; learning and development, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN) and disabilities. Key Responsibilities * Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals. * Assist with the preparation and organization of classroom materials and resources. * Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons. * Monitor and record students #39; progress and behaviour, providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed. * Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting good behaviour and encouraging student participation. * Assist with personal care tasks for students with additional needs, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. * Perform administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and maintaining records. Requirements * Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role. * A passion for working with children and supporting their educational development. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team. * Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are an advantage but not essential.
