Engineering technician test and validation

Immediate permanent opportunities for engineering technicians looking for a new role within in a great environment. Our Client is paying up to GBP36,000 per annum. You will be Working within the Engineering department to complete test and validation of Tech systems and equipment, both at company and worldwide customer locations, and the development of control software. Days (Mon-Fri) 40 hours per week Overtime available What rsquo;s in it for you: * A salary rate up to GBP36,000 basic per annum * High overtime potential * Company Events * Opportunity to travel * On-site parking What you will be doing: * Developing automation control solutions using object oriented design methodology. * Development of SQL Database rsquo;s for use within an engineering environment. * Developing multi-lingual user interface designs for VA Tech software applications. * Generation of software specification and design documentation. * Development of integrated and separate reporting tools for VA Tech software applications. * Hardware specification, installation and deployment within an engineering environment. * On-site development and diagnostic support including direct customer support. * Development of apps to interface with VA Tech software applications across a variety of mobile devices and platforms What you will need to succeed: * B.Sc / B.Eng / M.Eng computer science / software engineering degree or equivalent. * Understanding of control systems software development environment. Knowledge / experience using .NET development tools including VB.Net and WPF, ADO.Net SQL, Microsoft Reporting. * Understanding of object oriented analysis, design and development. * Ability to effectively present software solutions. * Problem solving skills, both as part of a team and individually. * Strong written communication skills.
