Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: Shepherd #39;s Bush, London Start Date: ASAP Position Type: Full-Time Pay: GBP80 - GBP100 per day A vibrant and inclusive mainstream primary school located in the heart of Shepherd #39;s Bush, London is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the team. Position Overview: As a Full-Time Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and students to ensure a positive and engaging classroom experience. Your responsibilities will include assisting with lesson planning, working with other Teaching Assistants, providing one-on-one or small group support to students, and helping to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere within the school. Key Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant: Collaborate with classroom teachers and teaching assistants to plan and deliver effective lessons. Provide support to individual students or small groups to meet their specific learning needs. Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies. Create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment. Contribute to the development of resources and materials for teaching and learning. Qualifications needed of the Teaching Assistant: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics. Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
