Year 2 Teacher Responsibilities middot; Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 2 students. middot; Implement appropriate teaching strategies to engage and inspire students. middot; Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement. middot; Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices. middot; Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behaviour and positive relationships. middot; Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns. middot; Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities as required. Year 2 Teacher Requirements middot; Bachelor #39;s degree in Education or a related field. middot; Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. middot; Proven experience teaching Year 2 students in a primary school setting. middot; Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods. middot; Strong communication and interpersonal skills. middot; Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners. middot; Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices. middot; Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
