Job Title: Team Manager - Children #39;s Assessments Location: Gloucestershire Type: Permanent Salary: GBP47,573 - GBP49,590 per annum + GBP2000 R R About Us: Gloucestershire County Council is seeking dedicated and experienced Team Managers to join our assessment and safeguarding teams. This is a unique opportunity for Senior/Advanced Practitioners looking to step into a managerial role or accomplished Team Managers to be part of a nurturing and supportive local authority. Gloucestershire County Council covers six localities: Tewkesbury, Forest of Dean, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud, and Cotswolds; you will be appointed the area that best suits you! About the Role: As a Team Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and supporting a team of social workers to deliver high-quality services. Your responsibilities will include ensuring statutory duties and best practices are followed, developing a team plan aligned with Children #39;s Services strategic objectives, and providing management oversight on all cases with a clear understanding of risk. You will manage the team #39;s workflow, quality assure work through observations and reflective supervision, and contribute to the development of GCC #39;s quality assurance framework. By building positive relationships with colleagues and partner agencies, you will contribute to providing support and protection for vulnerable children and young people across the County.
