Building maintenance engineer

Building Maintenance Engineer Covent Garden, City of London GBP45,000 Join our client on a brand new commercial contract in Covent Garden. We are looking for a fully qualified, experienced Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client #39;s team. You will undergo PPM and Reactive Maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, liaise with sub contractors, fill in logbooks and strengthen relations with the client on site. In return, you will receive additional training, internal progression and gain valuable experience. This role will follow a fixed pattern, Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM. To be successful in this role, you will need to hold the correct qualifications in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) at least 3 years prior experience in commercial maintenance and communicate effectively with the client on site. Duties: PPM (Planned preventative maintenance) Reactive maintenance AHUs, FCUs, Pumps - Bearings, Mechanical Seals, Sprinkler Systems, Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc).,Tap Temperatures, Chilled Water Systems, Plumbing, Generators, 3 Phase Power, Emergency Lights, Fire Alarms, Troubleshooting , Pressurisation units, BMS Operation Booking in subcontractors/ management of subcontractors Log book control Client management, including reporting on contract performance Requirements: Qualified in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) Apprentice trained - desirable Building Services Maintenance experience (Min 3 Years Experience) Career driven Strong communication skills Effective team management skills Very Client facing Salary and Package: GBP45,000 per annum Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM Chance to work in a brand new contract for our client 25 days annual leave entitlement + Bank holidays Company pension Overtime readily available Additional training Internal progression This is a great opportunity for either an electrical or mechanical biased maintenance engineer to join our client #39;s team, you will receive valuable experience and the chance to progress further within the organisation.
