Job Title: Freelance Site Manager - Refurbishment Project Location: Manchester (Trafford Park), United Kingdom Duration: 3-month initial contract (potential for longer-term opportunities on other projects) Start Date: 14th May 2024 Day Rate: GBP250-GBP275 per day (negotiable based on experience) Are you a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager looking for your next exciting challenge? We are seeking a dedicated Freelance Site Manager to oversee a refurbishment project in Manchester #39;s Trafford Park area. This project involves the refurbishment of an existing building situated in a bustling and vibrant part of Manchester. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the refurbishment project. * Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks. * Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations on-site, ensuring compliance with CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, and Asbestos Awareness requirements. * Supervise and manage the site team, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met. * Maintain detailed project documentation and reports, including progress reports, budgets, and safety records. Requirements: * CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) certification. * SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification. * First Aid certification (3-day course). * Asbestos Awareness certification. * Proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar role on refurbishment projects. * Strong leadership and communication skills. * Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
