Demand planner

The Company A global engineering company going through a strong growth period The Role Plan, schedule and coordinate finished goods and assemblies through the production cycle. Work with management to ensure the schedule meets customer and company needs. Expedite as required all internal manufacturing departments. Work within a mixed MRP/Lean environment. Evaluates and reports potential problem areas. Work under general supervision with some latitude for independent judgment. At times may consult with senior peers on certain projects. Duties bull; Global customer demand data analysis and forecast projections. bull; Conduct forecast projections per product family. bull; Maintain forecast module settings in ERP system. bull; MPS forecast upload and data maintenance. bull; Support SIOP process by gathering the required data. Prepare statistical analysis of Sales, Inventory, and other data. bull; Create presentation to conduct SIOP monthly meetings to improve revenue, on time performance and inventory forecasting. bull; Analyse Supply vs Demand to optimize Supply Chain strategy. bull; Identify supply and demand issues (gaps to plan), identify scenarios to mitigate, and prepare recommendations for senior leadership review. The Candidate Experience with B2B demand planning Planning experience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills required. Strong working knowledge of ERP Systems and logic, specifically demand forecasting and simulation modules. Expertise with statistics and data. Expertise on measuring and calculating forecast Bias. Demonstrated track record of ability to deliver results through others and influence without authority. Six Sigma and LEAN certification/experience would be beneficial The Package The salary offered for this position is GBP35,000- GBP48,000 plus benefits and a bonus per annum to a candidate who can meet all key qualifications and abilities
