Graduate structural engineer

Overview Atkins Search are currently searching for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join our client who are a successful multidisciplinary engineering consultancy based in Derby. Client Our client have been in operation for over 30 years and have cemented themselves as a respected consultancy in the East Midlands. They have multiple offices and offer a variety of services to their clients including structural engineering, infrastructure engineering, geotechnical engineering and transport planning. They work on a wide range of projects including education, industrial, commercial, heritage and logistics. This variety in workload allows them to offer an interesting project variety to their engineers and give a great platform for junior members of the team to progress their professional knowledge. Role Working with senior engineers as a part of the structures team, you will be playing a key role on a variety of projects of varying sizes and developing your knowledge of structural engineering. You will be expected to work on the structural design modelling and detailing structural elements for a variety of projects allowing you to become a key member of the team going forward. Person - BEng / MEng / Degree (or equivalent) qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering - Desire to achieve chartered status ndash; this can be supported and funded - Proficient in software packages and excellent IT skills - Able to meet deadlines with strong organisational skills Remuneration My client rsquo;s core business focus is to work together to deliver lasting, successful, quality outcomes and a positive legacy.
