Fairhive is a non-profit affordable housing provider with ambition. We already provide affordable housing to more than 20,000 people in our community but we want to do more. That rsquo;s why we are striving to provide 1,000 additional homes by 2025. Our trades team play a vital role in the provision of our services from repairing and maintaining existing housing stock to managing environmental improvements to provide more families in our community with a home. About the role We are looking for an experienced Multi skilled operative to join our team and to help us achieve our social mission. On the Job you will: Carry out day to day repairs in occupied properties Carry out inspections Be able to carry out multi-trade tasks Work closely with a team of planners Participate in an out of hours rota About You We rsquo;re looking for someone who understands how important it is to have a safe place we can call home and who is motivated to support the local community. For this role you will need: Experience in social housing maintenance Carry out multi-trade tasks to a good standard Hold a valid drivers licence You will ideally have skills and attributes that include: good communication skills, the ability to work as a part of a multi-disciplined team, good time management skills practical problem solving skills If you rsquo;re conscientious, compassionate and want to learn more about a career in our Trades team, we rsquo;d love to hear from you!
