Role Overview: As our Quantity Surveyor/Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our project lifecycle. Your expertise in estimating will drive accurate cost assessments, ensuring our projects remain competitive and profitable. You rsquo;ll collaborate closely with our project managers, subcontractors, and clients to achieve successful outcomes. Responsibilities: * Estimating: Prepare detailed cost estimates for dry lining and plastering projects, considering materials, labor, and other relevant factors. * Quantity Surveying: Manage project costs, track expenses, and handle variations. * Tender Submissions: Prepare and submit compelling tenders, demonstrating our competitive edge. * Collaboration: Work closely with our project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution. * Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential risks related to cost overruns and project delays. * Cost Control: Monitor project budgets and provide timely reports to senior management. Requirements: * Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in estimating within the construction industry, specifically dry lining and plastering. * Qualifications: Bachelor rsquo;s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (preferred). * Technical Skills: Proficient in estimating software and tools. * Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate
