Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) Location: W1 - Mayfair (up to 90 minutes travel each way) Project Value: GBP40-GBP45 million Start Date: Immediate Employment Type: Full-time, site-based, 5 days per week Salary: Competitive, based on experience (including pension and healthcare) Are you a seasoned Quantity Surveyor looking for your next big challenge? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team and lead the commercial aspects of a prestigious GBP45 million project in the heart of Mayfair. Key Responsibilities: * Commercial Leadership: Take charge as the commercial lead, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure seamless project execution. * Contract Mastery: Administer all aspects of JCT Design Build and JCT Traditional contracts with ease and expertise. * Project Management: From tender analysis to package procurement, manage all day-to-day SQS tasks including placing full subcontract orders, handling valuations, variations, and payments, CVR reporting, assessing subcontractor claims, issuing notices, chairing meetings, and leading the project. * Financial Reporting: Oversee all internal and external commercial reporting, including monthly cashflows, Directors #39; Reports, and CVRs. Present commercial sections of monthly client reports and CVR reports to DEGC Directors. * Client and Team Interaction: Maintain excellent communication with the client and professional team, ensuring smooth collaboration and project success. What We #39;re Looking For: * Experience: Minimum 15 years in Quantity Surveying, ideally with some Tier 1 Main Contractors. * Sector Expertise: Background in high-end residential, 5-star hotels, cut carve, and new build projects. * Contract Knowledge: Proficiency in administering JCT D B and JCT Traditional contracts. * Location: Must be able to commute to Mayfair with a maximum travel time of 90 minutes each way. * Immediate Availability: Ready to start and make an impact from day one.
