Accounts Payable Specialist | Full time and Permanent | Cannock | Office based | Salary up to GBP30,000 Ashley Kate are proud to be working our global client who operate in the tech industry as they search for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their Finance team. Reporting into the Senior Accountant you will be responsible for Accounts Payable duties, have experience with multi currency and support with process improvements. Responsibilities: middot; Logging bank transactions outgoing on a daily basis middot; Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. middot; Reconciling sub ledgers against general ledger and identifying any errors. Verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances. middot; Communicating with relevant suppliers to process invoicing or payment queries middot; Attaching the correct documentation to invoices middot; Responsible for obtaining the correct approvals for all invoices. middot; Posting invoices and credit notes and ensuring they #39;re coded correctly in the system middot; Preparing monthly supplier statement reconciliations middot; Dealing with external and internal queries by phone and email middot; Preparing and processing supplier payments and ensuring that a senior Finance Manager has signed all payments off middot; Ensuring that all accounts payable activities comply with relevant financial policies and procedures middot; Investigating and resolving outstanding creditor items middot; Reconcile Accounts Payable for all Europe entities on a month close basis. middot; Ensuring that invoices are correctly logged with multicurrency. About you: middot; Bachelor or Associate #39;s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred middot; Studying AAT (desirable) middot; +2 years of prior relevant working experience in an accounts payable or accounting environment middot; Ability to work independently and as a team player middot; Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy middot; Effective communication skills - verbal and written middot; Functional proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically excel middot; Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills middot; Strong problem solving skills middot; Multi-Currency experience If you meet the requirements in the #39;About you section #39; please apply and I will be in touch shortly.
