Salary: GBP23,114 Actual salary, GBP16,047.97 FTE + AET Wellbeing Cash Plan + Pension Scheme (LGPS) + Additional AET Benefits Part Time, Permanent 08:30 - 15:15 Monday to Friday with a 2 minute break and a 30 minute lunch break 30 hours per week, term time plus INSET days, 39 weeks per year September 2024 Start Barton Hill Academy, based in Torquay, Devon, opened September 2012 and is sponsored by Academies Enterprise Trust (AET). The Academy currently has 660 pupils on roll aged 3-11. We aim for every child to have a happy and active primary education in an environment that is caring and supporting. We aim to provide a stimulating and structured environment in which every child will be encouraged to reach their full potential. We are now recruiting for a Teaching Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who are looking to gain in-class experience before applying to train to teach. Applications are also welcomed from those with previous experience working with students or young people in some capacity, or those who have a positive, enthusiastic attitude toward working with our students. Your responsibilities will include working with a pupil/pupils under the direction of teaching staff. You will provide skilled support to all pupils, including those with learning, behavioural, communication, social, sensory or physical difficulties. The role is due to commence September 2024.
