Machine Shop Setter - CNC Halstead Salary: GBP31,200- GBP35360 + Early and Late shift allowance. Full-time, permanent position Shifts: Day shift: Mon-Thurs 7.30am - 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am - 1.30pm Early shift: Mon-Fri 6am - 2pm Late shift: Mon-Thurs 2pm -11pm =36 hrs, Friday 2pm - 6pm = 4 hrs An excellent opportunity to join an expanding company who is investing over GBP3million back into the business. With lots of opportunities for advancement and career growth, this is a great time to join! Responsibilities: Set up machines, including calibration and cleaning, to start production cycles. Control and adjust machine settings, such as speed, to ensure optimal performance. Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines Inspect parts using precision and measuring tools to maintain high quality standards. Periodically test machine operation and fix any issues that may arise during the shift. Check output for any machine-related mistakes or flaws. Keep records of approved and defective units or final products Maintain activity logs for documentation purposes.
