Striker - Shuttering Carpentry Support needed in Hendon * Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary (1-year contract) * Start Date: Immediately * 10 Hours Work and 10 Hours paid About the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced Striker to support our shuttering carpenter on a major construction project in Hendon, London. This role is crucial in helping to construct and dismantle formwork for concrete structures. Responsibilities: * Assist the shuttering carpenter in constructing and dismantling formwork for concrete. * Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed. * Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order. * Adhere to strict health and safety regulations on-site. * Provide general support and assistance to the shuttering carpenter throughout the construction process. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Striker or in a similar role supporting formwork carpentry. * Valid CSCS Card. * Strong understanding of construction techniques and safety protocols. * Excellent physical condition and ability to perform strenuous tasks. * Team player with good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
