Job Title:- Teaching Assistant Location:- Shrewsbury Hours:- 8:45am-3:30pm (Temporary/Flexible Hours) Salary:- From GBP11.44-GBP13.00 an hour Job Description:- Excell Supply is currently seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to fill day-to-day, short-term, and long-term positions within school hours in Shropshire. Responsibilities:- bull; Work with groups of children aged between 3 and 11 (Nursery to Year 6) to support their learning. bull; Follow instructions and guidance provided by the class teacher. bull; Ensure children #39;s safety both in and out of the classroom. bull; Supervise children during playtime and lunchtime. bull; Prepare classroom materials, including cutting, sticking, photocopying, and laminating. bull; Observe and provide feedback to the class teacher regarding children #39;s learning. bull; Effectively manage off-task behaviours. Requirements:- bull; Hold Teaching Assistant Level 1, 2, or 3 qualifications are desirable but not essential. bull; Be an excellent and inspirational class practitioner, with children #39;s well-being at the forefront of all actions. bull; Have high expectations for pupils #39; achievement and behaviour. bull; Possess excellent communication and behaviour management skills. bull; Previous experience working with children or adults in a caring capacity. bull; Demonstrate transferrable skills such as teamwork, initiative, flexibility, adaptability, remaining calm under pressure, caring, and helpfulness. bull; Right to work in the UK. bull; Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (can be obtained through Excell Supply if necessary). bull; All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK, or eligible to apply for a relevant work visa.
