Night shift warehouse manager

Our market leading electrical appliance client are recruiting for a Night Shift Warehouse Manager to join their growing team. The role will be based at their site in Leicester. This position will be responsible for the daily running of the warehouse operations. The Night Shift Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing all resource provided to them with diligence, leading by example in all aspects of Health and Safety. You will work with all departments to resolve queries and give support to enable the growth of the company. Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day running of the warehouse function. You will coach and mentor of all Warehouse Operatives and other team members in their daily duties and responsibilities. You will own the management of agreed Warehouse metrics including regular reporting and communications as well as ensuring the safe operation of the warehouse function through the demonstration of a Health and Safety focused mindset. You will fully utilise the Warehouse Management systems and other business provided software to gain optimal efficiency through optimization and automation of tasks and also create improvements in the customer experience through the service focused execution of standardised processes, communications, resolutions, and internal SLA #39;s. In this position you will focus on development and mentoring of Operatives across all shifts and be a leader and promoter of employee wellbeing within the business. This will require effective use of praise recognition alongside performance management and disciplinary processes. What our client is looking for: middot; Proven work experience as a Warehouse Shift Manager or similar role. middot; Excellent organisation skills. middot; Knowledge and experience of Standard Operating Practices and Safe Systems of work for the function. middot; Highly motivated and results oriented. middot; Ability to collaborate and influence people. middot; Understanding of key warehouse processes. The salary for the position is GBP35k plus a 10% bonus as well as company benefits. You will work a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (6pm to 6am).
