Project planner

Project Planner Heathrow GBP60k - GBP70k MJM Industrial are currently recruiting for a Planner to work directly for a global market leader at Heathrow Airport. The project planner will be responsible for accurately creating and managing project schedules, resource allocations, and timelines to ensure the completion of any project assigned to. This will be critical in coordinating tasks, optimising resource usage, and mitigating potential delays, to make sure that projects run smoothly within the day to day. The project planner is responsible for outlining the scope of the project as well as budgeting and track project costs. Key Tasks * To be fully conversant with P6 and can construct a project WBS and develop the project schedule to be submitted for approval as the baseline. * To monitor and update the schedule in accordance with the contract and produce all relevant internal and external reports. * To produce Earned Value Analysis monthly, along with supporting variation commentary. * Ability to fully resource load and cost load the project. * To support the project manager and commercial manager with accurate data that can demonstrate the overall project performance. * To produce a critical path analysis and report any variations against it. * To integrate various supplier schedules into an overall master project programme. * Understanding schedule interfaces and dependencies to produce various key milestones and / or Milestone Definition Sheets to be submitted for acceptance. * To attend project change meetings and support the commercial team for input into any instruction for quotation or implementation. Qualifications and Experience: * Ideally an HNC or equivalent within an engineering sector. Relevant experience will also be acceptable. * Ideally worked on integrated Automation Systems within airports or Manufacturing or Distribution Industries * Preferably worked on airport baggage handling systems design Essential criteria for this position: * P6/Primavera * NEC 3 * Cost loading programmes For more information and a confidential chat, click apply now
