Application support engineer

A specialist Fintech SME that provides advanced data to Capital Markets is in search for a Technical Support Engineer to join their order team. bull; Technical Support Engineer bull; GBP70k bull; Fintech bull; Hybrid Remote (London), Shares, flexible working You rsquo;d be joining a small but efficient Op rsquo;s team to monitor these production applications and to make sure our daily batch jobs. You rsquo;ll use your knowledge of these data pipelines to troubleshoot any potential production issues, and escalate to relevant teams internally/externally. The company is a Market leader in Data Analytics, providing Financial services for their clients who are dependent on their services for workflows. They recently secured Series B investment, and have won awards for being Lead Data Provider. The role is hybrid remote, with 2/3 per month in the London office. An ideal candidate with need to have experience in Python/Bash scripting, Linux, SQL, and The company is a Market leader in Data Analytics, providing services for their clients who are dependent on their services for workflows. Responsibilities bull; Monitor and make sure daily batch jobs complete in a timely manner bull; Manage production incidents and escalate issues to the appropriated Dev teams bull; Lead on customer issue including; diagnose, troubleshoot, identify solutions and resolutions bull; Build reports and monitoring dashboards bull; Produce tech notes and articles bull; Occasional weekend work will be required with this role With recent success/investment, the company is scaling across multiple departments, and this is a great opportunity to join a respected Fintech as they enter hyper growth phase. You rsquo;ll be looking to grow their financial and technical support skills with internal growth forming an important part of the company rsquo;s culture. A Finance/Fintech background would be an advantage but is not essential.
