Hr advisor

We are currently working with a Public Sector Organisation in Herefordshire who are looking for a HR Advisor to join the team on a permanent basis. The role is 37 hours full time, offers a competitive salary and hybrid working. Our client is looking for candidates with strong employee relations case management and trade union experience is desirable, as well as access to their own vehicle with a full UK Driving Licence as there will be travel to various sites across the Hereford area required. Duties will include (but are not limited to): * Managing a caseload of complex employee relations cases, including safeguarding issues, disciplinaries, performance, redundancy, grievances and absence * Advising stakeholders on HR queries, including policies, processes, terms and conditions * Building relationships with stakeholders to coach and guide them on all HR services * Continuously developing HR policies, ensuring they are fit for purpose and are in line with legislative changes, and HR best practice * Liaising with trade union representatives * Supporting with change management programmes, including TUPE, restructures and redundancies Experience required: * UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle * Strong employee relations case management * Previous experience working in schools (desirable) Rewards and Benefits: * 26 days annual leave, plus bank holidays * Aviva salary sacrifice pension scheme * Access to benefits and discounts at various retailers * Opportunity to buy and sell annual leave * Cycle-to-work scheme Working hours: * 37 hours per week * Monday ndash; Friday ndash; Can be flexible with start / finish time Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
