The company manufacture critical components for torque transmission equipment used in drivetrain applications within Naval Marine Propulsion, Oil Gas, Mineral Extraction, Mass Transit, Lifting, Conveying and Processing Sectors. Role * Evaluate how the business operates and develop roadmap to drive competitive advantage through safe and efficient use of resources * Formulate and define the operations strategy for the business to drive efficiency on a daily basis via KPI performance management alongside implementation of new technologies, systems or processes. * Remit extends across production, planning, internal and external supply chains, including procurement, warehousing and logistics with a focus on optimising working capital * Review organisation #39;s capacity and capability to ensure plans are developed to meet current and future organisational needs You * Embrace Continuous Improvement and are an exponent of constant and measurable change * Excellent leadership addressing coaching, prioritisation, delegation needs, while fostering an environment of accountability and discipline. * At ease in a fast paced and demanding environment with multiple on-going short-term tasks balanced with longer term objectives * Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgement to maximise efficiencies and proven ERP systems process understanding and utilisation * Welcome the prospect of working within a team supporting best practice culture, whilst striving for notable customer service levels.
