Job role: Day services manager Salary: GBP36,000-GBP40,000 Working hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. As Service Manager, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of the students, ensuring a seamless operation of the day service. You will be responsible for managing budgets effectively and developing engaging social and educational activities tailored to the needs of each student. Key Responsibilities: Lead the day-to-day operations and support the head of service. Ensure exceptional, individualised care for all students. Develop and organise engaging social and educational activities. Manage and support a skilled staffing team. Collaborate with various departments to meet student needs. Effectively manage budgets to maximise student support. Conduct assessments, create care plans and perform risk assessments. Maintain accurate documentation and care records. Administer medication and ensure safe medication management. Promote positive behaviour and address issues promptly. Ensure staff receive necessary training and professional development.
