Health and safety advisor

Health and Safety Advisor | Reading with travel | GBP45-50K + car allowance Great opportunity for a Health Safety Advisor to join a business specialising in the planning, development, and operation of solar projects. You will be responsible for providing Health Safety project support across all aspects of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) operations. Your time will be split between sites, office and home, working on a flexible, hybrid basis to meet the operational needs of the business. Key responsibilities include: * Development of Health Safety Plans and Inspection and Prevention Procedures * Plan and organise, activities, documents, and meetings related to EPC HSE and the EPC Integrated Management System. * Audits, inspections, reports, certifications, permits, training, etc. * Database maintenance on health safety accidents and their treatment * Participation in safety meetings and in the coordination of work safety * Prepare and conduct HSE presentations, training, and awareness sessions for EPC employees. * Conducting safety inspections on-site and legal compliance in Health and Safety at Work in accordance with applicable specifications and standards * Verification and technical support to EPC Managers, EPC Site Technical Leads, EPC Site Technician, EPC Coordinators, EPC Technicians and EPC Site Specialist. * Develop RAMS for works and review the subcontractor rsquo;s RAMS and HSE documentation. The ideal candidate will hold: * NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction (minimum) * Good knowledge of ISO 45001 and IS(phone number removed) * Relevant industry experience and transferrable skills * Full driving licence and be willing to travel Want to find out more?
