Management accountant

Management Accountant required to join an established team within a very reputable construction and housebuilding contractors based in the Gloucester office. The Management Accountant role will entail handling the preparation of budgets, job WIP and management accounts whilst also handling the CIS returns on a monthly basis. The ideal candidate will preferably have relevant experience within the construction industry working in a finance team and will also have experience on Coins software. This role is ideal for a Management accountant looking to progress within their career in a friendly and ambitious company. Management Accountant Position Overview In this role your day to day will require: Processing Sub contractor CIS returns Preparing management accounts Monthly Job WIP calculations Preparing budgets Liaising with Commercial Department with Sub Con queries Key account analysis Bond Schedules Prospective Sites schedule Month end duties including journals (accruals, prepayments) Management Accountant Position Requirements Experience carrying out a similar role previously, preferably in the housebuilding sector Experience within the construction industry dealing with CIS and subcontractors Competency in Coins software Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook Management Accountant Position Remuneration Circa GBP35,000 - GBP42,000 dependant on experience Office based role 25 holidays per year which increase by 1 day per year to a maximum of 30 days plus Bank Holidays Mon - Thurs 08.30 - 17.30; Fri 08.30 - 17.00 (although part time /30 hours will be considered) Enrolled to Legal and General following 3 months service Guaranteed 5% of basic paid into pension or as an annual bonus paid in December pay Life assuranceBennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
