The purpose of this school is to cater for students who have challenging behaviour and have been expelled from a mainstream school because of their behaviour. This is an alternative provision with approximately 70 students, so the teaching will be done in small groups because it is an alternative provision. As a teacher, you will be able to have a teaching assistant in your class who will assist the students in their academic studies and in their behaviour as well. It would be an excellent opportunity for you to begin your teaching career in September 2024 if you had experience of teaching students with challenging behaviour.
