As our Hire Desk Manager, you #39;ll be joining one of the UK #39;s fastest growing Equipment and Tool Hire companies. We #39;re a high energy business so to keep pace with the constantly increasing volume of customers, you #39;ll need to be at the top of your game. You #39;ll be responsible for running a team of experienced Hire Controllers and Key Account Managers, ensuring daily operations are running smoothly. This is your chance to make your mark as you #39;ll: middot; Create and Implement KPS #39;s to keep everything on track. middot; Manage customer enquiries to ensure they get the best possible service. middot; Coordinating equipment so that everything is in the right place at the right time. middot; Up skill the team to make sure everyone is providing outstanding customer service at all times. You #39;ll also be involved in sourcing new technologies and developing better processes to make the whole hiring experience efficient. PERSON SPECIFICATION: Hire Desk Manager, Senior Hire Controller, Hire Manager - Construction Equipment, Plant Hire, Access Hire, Equipment Hire, Tool Hire. Ideally, you will have managed a hire desk team before, such as: middot; Plant, tool, powered access, lifting, crane. middot; Welfare, generators, forklifts. middot; HGV, agricultural equipment, attachments or equipment hire. But, you might have managed Trade Desks / Hire Desks within Builders Merchants, Timber or Plumbing Merchants, etc. Whatever your background you #39;ll be able to demonstrate: middot; A proven track record of team leadership. middot; The ability to take ownership of projects and tasks. middot; Excellent communication skills. middot; Organisational skills. Above all you #39;ll need to bring boundless energy, a desire to develop those around you and enjoy being in the thick of things.
