Foreman soft landscaper

Job Title: Soft Landscape Foreman. Location: Chobham. Salary: Up to GBP40K. We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our multi award-winning company as a Soft Landscape Foreman. This is a key role within the Construction division of our business, leading the soft landscaping / horticultural activities to bring design-led horticultural plans to life. The successful candidate will need to be dynamic, organised and highly motivated, with a proven ability to use their own initiative in order to drive projects forward. They need to have a proven record of accomplishment in delivering high-end soft landscaping projects in line with exacting specification. They will also need to be a collaborative team worker, able to lead a soft landscaping team, whilst liaising effectively with other stakeholders such as landscape architects, garden designers, hard landscaping foremen, sub-contractors and clients. The candidate will need to organise horticultural resources alongside the overall Site Foreman and the company rsquo;s Plant Procurement Specialist to deliver an effective and timely service. Ensuring superb quality in terms of plant / tree health whilst on site is key to realising the garden vision. bull; Reading and actioning site design plans to ensure the horticultural elements are delivered as prescribed bull; Managing landscaping staff on site bull; Reporting to the Contracts Manager and Contracts Director with proven ability to deliver on business objectives in a timely and cost effective manner bull; Liaising and communicating with all external stakeholders whilst sensitively managing those relationships bull; Maintaining and managing all horticultural elements on site to ensure sustained good health bull; Turfing and its maintenance bull; Tree planting - working alongside specialists where required bull; Recognised horticultural qualification ndash; able to demonstrate excellent plant knowledge which will be tested on interview bull; Full clean UK driving licence bull; CSCS card bull; Competent in using the appropriate power tools where required bull; Certificates in spraying (PA1 PA6),and Ride-on Mowers would be an advantage but not essential bull; Excellent awareness of Health Safety and implementing procedures bull; Ability to work positively in a team with a pro-active and can-do attitude bull; Able to work independently and take ownership for delivering superb quality work every time bull; High levels of energy, self-motivation and the ability to motivate others bull; Strong attention to detail bull; Good time-management bull; Ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines bull; Strong work ethic bull; Integrity and discretion bull; A desire to develop personally, whilst also supporting the development of other team members bull; A competitive annual salary depending on experience bull; An annual bonus based on the Company rsquo;s overall performance bull; Use of a Company van for business bull; 28 days holiday inclusive of bank and public holidays bull; Branded uniform bull; PPE bull; Training bull; Company pension scheme bull; Employee assistance programme backed by BUPA bull; Company events bull; Working for one of the UK rsquo;s leading award-winning landscaping companies
