Duties Include: Mechanical fitting using engineering drawings and technical specifications Working on precision parts, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies Performing final tests and commissioning on partially or fully completed systems Raising non-conformance issues Meeting set deadlines to achieve performance targets and customer delivery commitments Ensuring products are built to the correct technical and quality specifications Maintaining high standards of health and safety Installing, testing, and repairing hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, and valves Role Requirements: Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply instructions correctly to achieve required product quality Proficient in using hand tools, grinders, and drills Experience with a range of mechanical and hydraulic systems and components Skills Required: Demonstrated experience using various engineering equipment Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply instructions correctly to achieve required product quality Previous experience working with hydraulics Engineering Apprenticeship qualification within a manufacturing/engineering environment or a relevant recognized qualification (or extensive industry experience) Personal Requirements: Good communication and interpersonal skills Professional customer interface Flexible attitude towards working hours Systematic and organized individual with attention to detail Eager and honest approach to work Pride in work, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship Job Type: Full-time Salary: Up to GBP14.00 per hour If you are a skilled Mechanical Fitter looking to join a supportive and dynamic team, we would love to hear from you.
