Assistant project controller

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Controller to join the Finance team in Newcastle. This is a fantastic opportunity to support project managers in tracking financial performance, relaying key messages about project evolution, and managing risks and opportunities. Role Responsibilities: Support financial performance management with planning, forecasting, and reporting for EMEA Data Centre projects. Work with Offshore Teams and ensure project transactional finance activities, including billing and purchasing, are up to date in collaboration with our team in the Philippines. Manage time and material projects Ensure accurate reflection of project-specific inter-company transactions. Address transactional finance queries for the EMEA Data Centre sector. Assist in updating project master data and support the creation of new projects as needed.Role Requirements: Actively studying for a professional qualification. Minimum of 2 year #39;s experience, with at least 1 year in a similar role. Good understanding of basic project accounting. Experience in consulting or construction is advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with international business operations Strong initiative and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication skills Ability to integrate seamlessly into multidisciplinary and cultural teams. Proficiency in Office 365, especially Excel, and knowledge of SAP (ideally SAP 4/HANA). Understanding of IFRS 15 revenue recognition.What #39;s in it for you?
