Site engineer

An exciting opportunity for a Site Engineer to join a major highways scheme in Somerset. Our client is the tier one contractor delivering the works on site on a major highway project. Abatec is recruiting for a Site Engineer on a freelance basis to join this project. As Site Engineer you will: * Have experience of setting out on Highways schemes * Provide levelling and surveying across the site, checking drawings and quantities and ensuring the accuracy of calculations * Provide as-built surveys on works completed * Be responsible for maintaining QA records and that works are completed in accordance with ITP rsquo;s * Produce 2D and 3D site sketches Our client requires a Site Engineer with: * Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations * A good understating of construction health safety protocols * Excellent communication skills * HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering * Understanding of AutoCAD Salary/Benefits: * GBP350 - GBP400 LTD If you would like more information, or to apply for this vacancy, please contact Lloyd Barham or David Hughes on (phone number removed).
