Sheq advisor

We are working with a tier 1 client who are looking to employ an experienced SHE Advisor with a Utilities background to drive their health, safety, environmental and quality responsibilities across the Northumbrian Water Framework. This role is on a permanent basis working closely with the Operations and SHEQ Director to ensure the teams can achieve and sustain world class health, safety and environmental performance resulting in net zero and improved sustainability. Responsibilities: * Undertaking periodic risk assessments and implementing more robust procedures when necessary * Providing specialist SHEQ advice to colleagues / subcontractors * Ensuring contracts are compliant and that positive behaviours are embedded in the day to day works of our operational teams What do we need from you? * Experience in the Civil Engineering sector ideally with Water * Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and subcontractors; we are looking for a team player who can add value to our operational teams * NEBOSH or equivalent * IOSH The salary is indicative and based on experience
